​Hazher Ghadery is an Iranian-Kurdish human rights advocate and PhD student at Leeds Beckett University, where his research focuses on ethnic minority issues in the Middle East. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the American University of Iraq–Sulaimani and a master’s degree in the same field from Leeds Beckett University in the UK. His work centers on defending minority rights, promoting democratic values, and addressing human rights violations, particularly in Iranian Kurdistan.

Lukman Aliassi is a dedicated human rights activist and student at HES-SO Geneva, focusing on the rights and freedoms of ethnic minorities in Iran, particularly the Kurdish nation. He has actively participated in sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council, raising awareness of the challenges faced by marginalized communities under authoritarian governance. Through his advocacy and academic work, he promotes democracy, equality, and human dignity, amplifying the voices of oppressed groups and advancing the struggle for justice and self-determination.

Edris Aliassi is the Director of Communication at KHRD, where he leads advocacy efforts for Kurdish people and other marginalized communities across Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Turkey. Born in Kurdistan (Iran) and educated through university level, he has built expertise in communication and human rights advocacy, supporting KHRD’s mission to promote dignity, equality, and freedom. Beyond his professional role, he enjoys sport, nature, photography, and music.

Diyar Ghafour is  an Iranian medical graduate and children’s rights advocate, earned his degree from Hawler Medical University in 2022 and now serves as a pediatric resident at Soran Pediatric Hospital. His work centers on child health, development, and disease prevention, while his advocacy focuses on protecting children from neglect, exploitation, and abuse. As a member of the Kurdistan Doctors Syndicate and the Kurdistan Pediatric Society, he contributes to advancing pediatric healthcare and promoting children’s rights across Kurdistan.
