KHRD Welcomes UN Special Rapporteur Mai Sato’s Report on Human Rights in Iran

Kurdistan Human Rights Development (KHRD) welcomes the report presented by Ms Mai Sato, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran.
KHRD expresses serious concern regarding continuing human rights violations, particularly those affecting Kurdish, Baluch, and other marginalised communities, including reported unlawful killings, executions, arbitrary detention, torture, and systemic discrimination.
KHRD calls upon the United Nations, European Union, and international community to strengthen human rights monitoring, support independent investigations, ensure accountability for alleged violations, and urge Iranian authorities to fulfil their international human rights obligations.
KHRD reaffirms its commitment to promoting human rights, justice, accountability, and the protection of ethnic minorities in Iran.
